The Leroy Herbst Agency is the oldest continuing general insurance agency in Clermont County, Ohio, as well as the oldest continuing business in the Village of Williamsburg. Records from the business dating back to 1895 indicate that the agency was founded by J. G. Irvin on Main Street in Williamsburg circa 1890. Irvin represented the Insurance Company of North America, the oldest stock insurance company in America founded in 1792.

From 1991 to the present the Leroy Herbst Agency has continued to serve clients as a satellite agency of the Emory P. Zimmer Insurance Agency, Inc. For more than a century, the agency has provided sound management, outstanding companies for risk selection, and excellent policyholder and claimant service supported by knowledgeable and friendly office personnel.
